Ballast - HID - LH (SAE) - Remove And Replace: Removal

  1. Remove the LH front wheel arch liner louver. See Louver - Wheel Arch Liner - Front - LH (Remove and Replace) .
  2. Peel back the front of the LH wheel arch liner to gain access to the headlight assembly.

  3. Remove the screws (x3) that attach the HID ballast to the headlight assembly.

  4. Disconnect the electrical connectors (x2) from the HID ballast.
    NOTE: If corrosion on the connectors is observed, the headlight may need replacement; refer to Toolbox article 54602.
