Trim - Dash - Driver's Side - Lower - Remove And Replace: Removal

  1. Remove the LH instrument panel side cover, refer to ASSEMBLY - INSTRUMENT PANEL SIDE COVER - LH (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .
  2. Remove the screw that secures the footwell cover to the instrument panel trim panel (torque 2 N.m).
  3. Wear protective gloves before continuing to the next step.
    WARNING: Protective gloves must be worn to avoid personal injury while removing the lower dash trim.
  4. Using a suitable tool, release the clips (x9) that secure the trim to the dash.
    CAUTION: Take care not to damage component(s).
    CAUTION: Replace any broken clips.

  5. Remove the trim from the dash assembly.
