Tuner - Radio (RHD) - Remove And Replace: Removal

  1. Remove HEPA filter outlet duct. See Duct - HEPA Filter - Outlet (Remove and Replace) .
  2. Disconnect 12V power. See Disconnect 12V Power .
  3. Remove the accelerator pedal. See Accelerator (Remove and Replace) .
  4. Remove the screws (x2) that attach the OBDII connector to the tuner bracket, and then remove the connector from the bracket.

  5. Disconnect the electrical harness from the premium amplifier connector, if equipped.

  6. Remove the bolts (x3) that attach the amplifier/tuner bracket assembly to the cross car beam.

  7. Disconnect the electrical harness from the radio tuner connectors.

  8. Release the fir tree clip that attaches the electrical harness to the cross car beam, and then move the electrical harness to the side.

  9. Move the amplifier/tuner bracket assembly out through the bottom of the IP carrier, and then remove the assembly from the vehicle.

    Tip: Rotate the bracket assembly to different angles to ease removal.

  10. Remove and discard the screws (x4) that attach the radio tuner to the amplifier/tuner bracket, and then remove the radio tuner from the bracket.
