Latch - Door - Front - LH - Remove and Replace: Remove

  1. Remove the front LH door closeout panel. See CLOSEOUT PANEL - DOOR - FRONT - LH (REMOVE AND INSTALL) .
  2. Disconnect the electrical harness from the door latch connector.

  3. Remove the bolts that attach the latch to the rear of the door.

    10 N.m (7.4 ft-lbs) 

    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:

    • Torx T25 socket
    • 4 in extension

  4. Press the latch cable grommet in through the door, and move the cable in through the opening while simultaneously removing the latch from the door.
