Hinge - Door - Front - Lower - LH - Remove and Replace: Remove

  1. Open the LH front door.
  2. Lower the LH front window.
  3. Use a jack to support the left front door from the bottom.
    NOTE: Make sure to use soft material to protect door paint.

  4. Apply masking tape to the area surrounding the LH front door lower hinge on the body and door to aid in alignment during installation.
  5. Remove the bolts (x2) that attach the LH front lower door hinge to the door.

    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:

    • 10 mm combination wrench

  6. Remove the bolts (x2) that attach the LH front lower door hinge to the body.

    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:

    • 13 mm combination wrench

  7. Rotate the LH front lower hinge and pull it out to remove it.
