Hinge - Door - Front - Lower - LH - Remove and Replace: Install

Install the new LH front lower hinge.

Hand-tighten the bolts (x2) that attach the LH front lower door hinge to the body.
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 13 mm combination wrench

Install fasteners for front left door side lower hinge bolts. Torque in later step
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 13 mm combination wrench

Close left front door and check gap and flush are within specification
NOTE: Adjust if necessary

Tighten the bolts (x2) that attach the LH front lower door hinge to the body.
27 N.m (19.9 ft-lbs)

Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
- 13 mm socket

Tighten the bolts (x2) that attach the LH front lower door hinge to the door.
27 N.m (19.9 ft-lbs)

Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
- 10 mm socket

Remove the masking tape that surrounds the LH front door lower hinge on the body and door.
Remove the support from the LH front door.

Use IPA wipes to clean the lower hinge bolts and wait at least 1 minute to allow it to completely dry.

Apply touch up paint to the LH front lower door hinge bolts as needed.
NOTE: Make sure to shake touch up paint before applying, Refer to label for dry time instructions
Raise the LH front window.
Close the LH front door.
