Actuator - Cinching - Remove And Replace: Removal

  1. Open liftgate and secure at working height.
  2. Remove the lower rear window liftgate finisher. See Finisher - Liftgate - Rear Window - Lower (Remove And Replace)
  3. Remove the screws (x3) that attach the cinch motor to the liftgate.

    5 N.m (3.7 lbs-ft)

  4. Disconnect the harness connector.

  5. Position cinching motor for access to latch release cable. Release cable from abutment and disconnect inner cable from motor.
