Molding - Rocker Panel - LH - Remove And Replace: Removal
- Air suspension vehicles: Set the ride height to very high.
- Open the LH front and LH rear doors.
- Turn the steering wheel fully to the left.
- Release the LH secondary rear side body seal from the top of the LH rocker panel, but leave the seal attached to the LH rear quarter panel. See Seal - Body - Side - Rear - Secondary - LH (Remove and Replace)

- Release the clips (x7) that attach the lower backside of the LH scuff plate to the vehicle, and then remove the scuff plate.
Tip: Remove the scuff plate by sliding it toward the rear of the vehicle.
- Remove the screws (x7) that attach the LH rocker panel molding to the body (torque 1.5 N.m/1.10 ft-lbs.).
- Remove the plastic rivets (x2) that attach the front wheel arch liner to the LH rocker panel molding.
- Release the clips (x4) that attach the LH rear wheel well liner to the LH rear wheel fairing and body.
- Release the clips (x2) that attach the LH rear wheel fairing to the LH shear plate.
- Remove the bolt that attaches the LH rear wheel fairing to the underside of the vehicle (torque 8 N.m/5.90 ft-lbs.).
- Remove the bolt behind the LH rear wheel well liner that attaches the LH rear wheel fairing to the vehicle, and then remove the fairing (torque 10 N.m/7.37 ft-lbs.).
- Release the clip that attaches the rear LH rocker panel molding to the vehicle.
- Release the rocker panel molding lower clip covers (x5).
- Remove the clips (x5) that were hidden by the rocker panel molding lower clip covers.
- Remove the rocker panel molding from the vehicle.
