Sensor - Parking Distance - Outer - Front - Remove And Replace: Removal

  1. Open the LH front door and lower the LH front window.
  2. Turn the steering wheel fully to the right.
  3. Set the air suspension to the Very High  , and then turn on Jack Mode  .
  4. Acquire access to the LH front outer parking distance sensor:
    • If the wheel well liner has sensor cover, remove it, and then go to step  5.
    • If the wheel well liner does not have a sensor cover, remove the push clips that attach the front of the liner to the vehicle, and then move the wheel arch liner aside. Go to step  5.

  5. Release the tabs that attach the parking sensor to the fascia bracket, and then remove the sensor from the bracket.

  6. Disconnect the electrical harness from the parking sensor.

  7. If reusing the retainer ring, remove the retainer ring and inspect for damage.
    CAUTION: Do not reuse the ring if it is overly worn or damaged.
