Premium Boost Amplifier (RHD) - Remove And Replace: Installation
- Install the amplifier onto the amplifier/tuner bracket, and then install the screws (x4) that attach the amplifier to the bracket (torque 4 N.m).
- Move the amplifier/tuner bracket assembly up through the bottom of the IP carrier.
Tip: TIP Rotate the bracket assembly to different angles to ease installation.
- Bring the electrical harness to the tuner, and then fasten the fir tree clip that attaches the electrical harness to the cross car beam.
- Connect the electrical harness to the tuner connectors.
- Install the bolts (x3) that attach the amplifier/tuner bracket assembly to the cross car beam (torque 6 N.m).
- Move the front electrical harness to the tuner, and fasten the edge clip that attaches the electrical harness to the body.
- Move the main electrical harness to the tuner, and fasten the clips (x2) that attach the electrical harness to the bulkhead.
- Install the brake pedal. See Brake Pedal (Remove And Replace) .
- Install the steering column. See Steering Column (Remove And Replace) .
- Connect the electrical harness to the premium amplifier connector.
- Install the OBDII connector to the tuner bracket, and then install the screws (x2) that attach the connector to the bracket (torque 4 N.m).
- Install the accelerator pedal. See Accelerator (Remove And Replace) .
- Connect 12V power. See Disconnect 12V Power .
- Install the HEPA filter outlet duct. See Duct - HEPA Filter - Outlet (Remove And Replace) .
- Reinstall the latest vehicle firmware, or update the firmware if not the latest. See Firmware Reinstall - Touchscreen or Firmware Update
