Premium Boost Amplifier (RHD) - Remove And Replace: Installation

  1. Install the amplifier onto the amplifier/tuner bracket, and then install the screws (x4) that attach the amplifier to the bracket (torque 4 N.m).

  2. Move the amplifier/tuner bracket assembly up through the bottom of the IP carrier.

    Tip: TIP Rotate the bracket assembly to different angles to ease installation.

  3. Bring the electrical harness to the tuner, and then fasten the fir tree clip that attaches the electrical harness to the cross car beam.

  4. Connect the electrical harness to the tuner connectors.

  5. Install the bolts (x3) that attach the amplifier/tuner bracket assembly to the cross car beam (torque 6 N.m).

  6. Move the front electrical harness to the tuner, and fasten the edge clip that attaches the electrical harness to the body.

  7. Move the main electrical harness to the tuner, and fasten the clips (x2) that attach the electrical harness to the bulkhead.

  8. Install the brake pedal. See Brake Pedal (Remove And Replace) .
  9. Install the steering column. See Steering Column (Remove And Replace) .
  10. Connect the electrical harness to the premium amplifier connector.

  11. Install the OBDII connector to the tuner bracket, and then install the screws (x2) that attach the connector to the bracket (torque 4 N.m).

  12. Install the accelerator pedal. See Accelerator (Remove And Replace) .
  13. Connect 12V power. See Disconnect 12V Power .
  14. Install the HEPA filter outlet duct. See Duct - HEPA Filter - Outlet (Remove And Replace) .
  15. Reinstall the latest vehicle firmware, or update the firmware if not the latest. See Firmware Reinstall - Touchscreen or Firmware Update
