Air Bag Diagnostic System Check Flow
CAUTION:
Failure to use proper diagnostic and repair procedures when following the diagnostic flow charts can result in extended diagnostic time, false diagnosis results, parts damage, or inappropriate parts replacement.
- Be sure to use the correct terminal adapter from the connector test adapter kit (special tool) for resistance or voltage measurement.
- Do not try to repair a faulty air bag wire harness if you find an open circuit, defective connector, or damaged terminal. Replace the wire harness as an assembly.
NOTE:
- Be sure to perform AIR BAG DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK: ADVANCED AIR BAG before starting diagnosis according to each flow.
- When a check for proper connection is required, refer to INSPECTION OF INTERMITTENT AND POOR CONNECTIONS: ADVANCED AIR BAG .
