Diagnosis Procedure

DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE CHART

Step Action YES NO
1  COMBINATION SWITCH (LIGHTING AND TURN SIGNAL) INSPECTION 
Check the combination switch. Refer to [COMBINATION SWITCH CIRCUIT CHECK ]
Is the combination switch normal? 		 GO TO 2 Repair or replace the malfunctioning part.
2  CHECK HEADLAMP (HI) REQUEST SIGNAL INPUT 
SDT data list
  1. Select "HL HI REQ" of IPDM E/R data list item.
  2. With operating the lighting switch, check the monitor status.

Is the monitor item status normal? 		 GO TO 3 Replace BCM. Refer to [BCM (BODY CONTROL MODULE): REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ]
3  HEADLAMP (HI) CIRCUIT INSPECTION 
Check the headlamp (HI) circuit. Refer to [HEADLAMP (HI) CIRCUIT CHECK ].
Is the headlamp (HI) circuit normal? 		 Replace IPDM E/R. Refer to [IPDM E/R (INTELLIGENT POWER DISTRIBUTION MODULE ENGINE ROOM): REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ] Repair or replace the malfunctioning part.
