Brake Shoe

CAUTION: If the brake shoe lining is polished with sandpaper, abrading particles will be embedded in the lining and will damage the brake drum. Do not polish a rough shoe lining with sandpaper. Replace the shoe with a new one.

Measure thickness of brake shoe (1). Also, check surface of lining for hardening, excessive wear.

If necessary, replace new brake shoes.
