ECT METER SYMPTOM DIAGNOSIS

Condition	Possible Cause	Action
Engine coolant temperature (ECT) meter shows no operation or incorrect operation	Circuit fuse blown	Replace fuse and check for short circuit .
	ECT sensor faulty	Check ECT sensor referring to ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE (ECT) SENSOR INSPECTION .
	ECM-METER signal circuit faulty	Check ECM-METER signal circuit .
	Wiring or grounding faulty	Repair circuit .
	Combination meter faulty	Replace combination meter .
	HVAC control module faulty (Auto A/C model only)	Check HVAC control module referring to INSPECTION OF HVAC CONTROL MODULE AND ITS CIRCUIT .
	ECM faulty	Check ECM circuit referring to INSPECTION OF ECM AND ITS CIRCUITS .
