Speedometer and VSS Symptom Diagnosis

SPEEDOMETER AND VSS SYMPTOM DIAGNOSIS

Condition Possible cause Correction / Reference Item
Speedometer shows no operation or incorrect operation  VSS faulty Check VSS referring to  DTC P0500: VEHICLE SPEED SENSOR  . 
Wiring harness connected to VSS is open or short Repair circuit. 
Combination meter faulty Replace combination meter.
