Instrument Panel Removal and Installation: Installation

Install instrument panel by reversing removal procedure, noting the following items.

• When installing each part, be careful not to catch any cable or wiring harness.
• Tighten instrument panel bolt to specified torque.

  Tightening torque 

  Instrument panel bolt: 23 N.m (2.3 kg-m, 17.0 lb-ft) 

• When installing steering column assembly, refer to STEERING COLUMN REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
• Adjust control cables. Refer to HEATER CONTROL CABLES REMOVAL AND INSTALLATIO .
• Enable air bag system. Refer to DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM .
