Air Flow Control Actuator Removal and Installation: Removal

  1. Disconnect negative (-) cable at battery.
  2. Disable air bag system.

    For H25 engine model, refer to AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEMS .

    For H27 engine model, refer to AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEMS .

  3. Remove instrument panel. Refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  4. Disconnect air flow control actuator linkage (1) from heater unit.

  5. Disconnect air flow control actuator coupler (1).
  6. Remove air flow control actuator from heater unit by removing its mounting screw (2).
