Removal & Installation (Lower Arm Rear Bushing)

  1. Using Rear Suspension Bushing Arbor (MB990883), Rear Wheel Bearing and Installer Joint (MB990958), Ring (MB990887), and Rear Suspension Bushing Base (MB990890), drive out the bushing. See Fig 1 .
  2. Position the bushing so that its projection is as shown. See Fig 2 . Then use Rear Suspension Bushing Arbor (MB990883), Rear Wheel Bearing and Installer Joint (MB990958), Ring (MB990887), and Rear Suspension Bushing Base (MB990890) to press in the bushing.
  3. Press the bushing until its outer tube is flush with the lower arm assembly surface.
