Removal & Installation (Stabilizer Link Ball Joint)

- Remove the clip ring. See Fig 1 .
- Apply multi-purpose grease (SAE J310, NLGI No. 2), or equivalent, to the inside of a new dust cover.
- Wrap plastic tape around the stabilizer link stud, and then install the dust cover to the stabilizer link.
- Secure the dust cover by the clip ring.
- Check the dust cover for cracks or damage by pushing it with your finger.
- Remove plastic tape from stud.
