Wheel Bearing Play Check

Measure to determine whether the wheel bearing play is within 0.002" (0.05 mm) or not. If the play is not within 0.002" (0.05 mm) while the nut is tightened to 159-202 ft. lbs. (216-274 N.m), the bearing, hub and/or knuckle have probably not been installed correctly. See Fig 1 . If that is the case, replace the bearing and re-install.
