Steering Wheel: Removal

- Before proceeding, read air bag service precautions section. See AIR BAG SAFETY PRECAUTIONS . Disable air bag system. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM .
- Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove driver-side air bag module from steering wheel. See DRIVER-SIDE AIR BAG MODULE . Remove steering wheel retaining nut. Mark steering wheel and shaft for re-assembly reference. Using steering wheel puller, remove steering wheel.
