DTC 44: Air Bag Warning Light Circuit

- Before proceeding, see AIR BAG SAFETY PRECAUTIONS . If AIR BAG warning light is working normally, use scan tool to retrieve SRS DTC's. If DTC 43 is retrieved, replace SRS ECU. See SRS ELECTRONIC CONTROL UNIT (SRS ECU) under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Go to next step.
- If DTC 44 is retrieved, no further action is necessary. DTC 44 will be automatically erased when vehicle condition returns to normal.
