Setting of this DTC indicates a misfire was detected and PCM could not determine if fault was a true misfire, or due to operating vehicle on a rough surface. A misfire can be a true misfire with or without setting this DTC. Check Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM) for poor connections at Class 2 serial data terminals. Be sure no true misfire exists after repairing cause of DTC P1381.
