Code Enable Criteria

Following conditions must be met for DTC diagnostic test to run:

No related DTCs.
Engine coolant temperature is less than 90°F (32°C) at start-up.
Intake air temperature is less than 90°F (32°C) at start-up.
Difference between ECT and IAT no greater than 44°F (6.75°C) at start-up.
Ignition voltage is 11-16.6 volts.
Throttle angle is less than 40 percent.
Average calculated airflow is less than 26 grams per second during sample period.
Bank 1 HO2S-2 voltage does not change more than 148 mV from bias voltage (between 400 and 500 mV) for a longer amount of time than necessary. Maximum time required to reach operating range is 375 seconds. This warm up time depends on engine coolant temperature at time of start-up and total air flow since last start-up.
