Code Enable Criteria

Following conditions must be met for DTC diagnostic test to run:

No related DTCs.
Engine coolant temperature is 140°F (60°C) or more.
Engine is operating in closed loop mode.
Engine speed is between 1500 and 3500 RPM.
Canister purge duty cycle is 2 percent or more.
Mass air flow is between 17 and 32 grams/sec.
Engine has been running for at least 120 seconds.
All above conditions are met for 3 seconds.

Following condition is met for 90 seconds after closed loop mode is operational. Operation is enabled once per key cycle.
Ninety seconds after closed loop has been enabled, Bank 1 HO2S-1 average transition time between 300 and 600 mV is too slow. Lean-to-rich average transition responses time was longer than 462 milliseconds or rich-to-lean average transition response time was longer than 462 milliseconds.
