An intermittent problem can be caused by misrouted harness, rubbed-through wire insulation or broken wire inside insulation of HO2S heater circuit. An open or short in HO2S ignition voltage or ground circuits may cause DTC to set. If connections and wiring are okay and DTC P1134 continues to reset, replace Bank 1 HO2S No. 1. Check scan tool FAILURE RECORDS to determine mileage since last DTC was set.
A condition that affects multiple oxygen sensors indicates probable contamination. To avoid damage to new sensors, repair condition which caused contamination, before replacing oxygen sensor.
