Removal (Vitara)

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Suzuki XL-7, 2003 Suzuki Vitara, 2003 Suzuki Grand Vitara, and 2003 Suzuki Aerio. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Disconnect negative cable at battery and coupler (1) from IVIAF sensor (3). See Figure .
  2. Remove air cleaner outlet hose (2) from throttle body and MAF sensor (3). See Figure .
  3. CAUTION:
    • Don't disassemble MAF sensor.
    • Do not expose MAF sensor to any shock.
    • Do not blow compressed air by using air gun or the like.
    • Do not put finger or any other object into MAF sensor. Malfunction may occur.
  4. Remove MAF sensor from air cleaner case. See Figure .
