Manifold Absolute Pressure (Map) Sensor: Installation

Confirm that vacuum passage on intake manifold is free from clog.
Apply engine oil to "O" ring of manifold absolute pressure sensor.
Install manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor (1) to intake manifold (2). See Fig 1 .
Connect connector to manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor (1) securely. See Fig 1 .
