Removal (Aerio)

  1. Hoist vehicle. Disconnect purge hose (1), vent valve hose (2), and refuel vapor control valve hose (3) from pipes. See Figure . For quick joint, disconnect as follows:
    • Remove mud or dust around joint by blowing compressed air, and push joint fully in arrow direction (a).
    • Disconnect hose joint (while joint lock is unlocked) by pushing both sides of joint (b).
  2. Disconnect vent valve wire harness connector.
  3. Remove EVAP canister with bracket (4) from vehicle.
  4. Remove EVAP canister from bracket.
