Removal & Installation (Lancer)

Throttle Position (TP) sensor is located on throttle body. Disconnect TP sensor electrical connector. Remove TP sensor screws and TP sensor. See Figure or Figure . To install reverse removal procedure. Install throttle position sensor so it is positioned as shown. See Figure. Turn throttle position sensor 90 degrees clockwise to set it. Tighten fasteners to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Adjust TP sensor. See ON-VEHICLE ADJUSTMENTS article.
