Removal & Installation (Eclipse 2.4L, Galant 2.4L & Lancer)

Front Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) is located in exhaust manifold. See Fig 1 or Fig 3 . Rear HO2S is located in exhaust pipe, behind catalytic converter. See Fig 2 or Fig 4 . Disconnect HO2S connector. Using Oxygen Sensor Socket (MD998770), remove HO2S. Tighten HO2S to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Connect HO2S connector. Ensure HO2S harness is routed correctly and not contacting exhaust.
