Removal & Installation (Montero)
WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 7 other vehicles, including the 2003 Mitsubishi Outlander, 2003 Mitsubishi Montero Sport, 2003 Mitsubishi Montero, 2003 Mitsubishi Lancer, and 2003 Mitsubishi Galant. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
- Fuel tank differential pressure sensor is attached to top of fuel pump module, located in fuel tank. See Figure. Fold second seat to gain access to fuel pump module access hole cover. See Figure. Remove access hole cover (upper side) and packing. Remove access hole cover (lower side) and packing.
- Working through access plate, disconnect fuel tank differential pressure sensor connector. Remove screws and fuel tank differential pressure sensor.
- To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten fasteners to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Check for any fuel leaks and repair as necessary.
