Removal & Installation (Lancer)

Camshaft Position (CMP) sensor is located on rear of cylinder head, below air cleaner assembly. Remove air cleaner assembly. See Figure. To remove CMP sensor, see Fig 1. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten CMP sensor bolt to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
