Removal & Installation (Eclipse 2.4L, Galant 2.4L & Outlander)

Camshaft Position (CMP) sensor is located at back of cylinder head. To remove CMP sensor, remove bolt, CMP sensor and "O" ring. See Fig 1 or Fig 2. To install, reverse removal procedure. Install NEW "O" ring. Tighten CMP sensor bolt to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
