Removal & Installation (Montero)
WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 7 other vehicles, including the 2003 Mitsubishi Outlander, 2003 Mitsubishi Montero Sport, 2003 Mitsubishi Montero, 2003 Mitsubishi Lancer, and 2003 Mitsubishi Galant. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
- Raise and support vehicle. Remove Onboard Refueling Vapor Recovery (ORVR) vent valve module cover "A". See Fig 1. On vehicles not equipped with rear heater or A/C, remove ORVR vent valve module cover "B".
- On all models, disconnect EVAP emission ventilation solenoid connector. Disconnect vent hose at EVAP emission ventilation solenoid. Remove ORVR vent valve module, cap vent hose, vent pipe and bracket assembly. Remove EVAP emission ventilation solenoid. To install, reverse removal procedure.
