Installation (Diamante)

CAUTION:
When installing high-pressure fuel hose, DO NOT let engine oil in fuel rail.
- To install, reverse removal procedure. Use NEW "O" rings lubricated with one drop of clean engine oil when installing injectors. Install injectors into fuel rail with a twisting motion. DO NOT allow engine oil to enter fuel rail. Ensure injectors rotate smoothly after installation. If not, remove injectors and reinsert them into fuel rail and recheck.
- When connecting high-pressure fuel hose to fuel rail, apply a drop of new engine oil to NEW "O" ring, and insert, being careful not to damage "O" ring. See Figure. Check that high-pressure fuel hose turns smoothly. If not, remove hose and reinsert it into fuel rail and check again. Tighten bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
