Removal & Installation (Montero Sport)

- Raise and support vehicle. Locate EVAP canister, near rear of fuel tank. See Fig 1. Disconnect purge pipe. Remove purge hose. Disconnect vapor pipe. Remove vapor hoses. Remove vent pipes. Remove EVAP canister cover and EVAP canister assembly. Remove canister bracket and solenoid valve. Remove Onboard Refueling Vapor Recovery (ORVR) vent valve module. Remove EVAP canister.
- To install, reverse removal procedure.
