Loosen air bleed bolt located on engine, near end of top radiator hose. See Fig 1 or Fig 2 . Place a large funnel in radiator filler neck. Pour 1/2 of cooling system capacity of coolant into radiator. Fill remaining capacity with clean, drinkable water until fluid overflows from air bleed bolt hole. Tighten air bleed bolt to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .

Fill remaining capacity with clean, drinkable water to 0.5" (13 mm) below radiator filler neck. Install radiator cap. Fill reservoir to FULL line. Start engine and repeatedly rev engine to 3000 RPM several times to let cooling system warm up. Stop engine. Allow engine to cool off. Carefully open radiator cap. Add clean drinkable water to just below radiator filler neck. Install radiator cap and top off reservoir. Check for leaks.
