Removal (Eclipse & Galant)

Loosen radiator drain plug and remove radiator cap to discharge coolant. Remove air cleaner assembly. See Figure. Remove accelerator cable. See Fig 1 - Fig 3 . Disconnect throttle position sensor connector and idle air control motor connector. Remove vacuum hose. Remove water hose. Remove vacuum pipe. On Eclipse 2.4L, remove throttle body stay. Remove throttle body and gasket.
