Purge Port Vacuum Check (Diamante)

  1. Disconnect vacuum hose from throttle body purge vacuum port. Connect hand vacuum pump to throttle body purge vacuum port.
  2. Start engine. Check vacuum while increasing engine speed. Purge vacuum should increase proportionally with increase in engine speed. If vacuum does not increase with increase in engine speed, check purge port for clogging.
