Curb Idle Speed: Diamante

  1. Start and warm engine until engine coolant temperature is 176-203°F (80-95°C). Turn lights and accessories off. Put automatic transmission in Park or manual transmission in Neutral.
  2. Ensure ignition timing is correct. See IGNITION TIMING . Turn ignition off. Insert a paper clip into No. 3 terminal of 3 pin connector as illustrated. See Figure. Connect a primary voltage type tachometer to paper clip.
  3. Start engine and allow it to idle for 2 minutes. Check curb idle speed. See IDLE SPEED SPECIFICATIONS .
