Code Enable Criteria

Following conditions must be met for DTC diagnostic test to run:
- No related DTCs.
- Engine is operating in closed loop.
- Engine air load is less than 99 percent.
- Engine coolant temperature is between 158°F (70°C) and 248°F (120°C).
- Mass air flow is between 2.5 and 10 grams/sec.
- Change in engine load is less than 8 percent.
- Change in engine speed is less than 200 RPM.
- Catalyst temperature is 662°F (350°C) or more.
- PCM determines that catalyst's oxygen storage is below acceptable threshold.
- Intake air temperature is between 14°F (-10°C) and 158°F (70°C).
- Throttle angle is less than 1.5 percent.
- Barometric pressure is 72 kPa or more.
