Removal & Installation (Aerio & Esteem)

Ensure engine is cool before removing HO2S No. 2. Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove console box. Disconnect connector from HO2S No. 2. Raise and support vehicle. Remove HO2S No. 2 from exhaust pipe. See Figure . To install, tighten HO2S No. 2 to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . To complete installation, reverse removal procedure. After installing HO2S No. 2, start engine and check for exhaust leaks.
