Removal & Installation (Grand Vitara & XL-7)

- Ensure engine is cool before removing HO2S No. 1. Disconnect negative battery cable. Disconnect connector from left front HO2S No. 1 or right front HO2S No. 1. See Fig 1 . Remove HO2S No. 1 from exhaust manifold. See Figure .
- To install, tighten HO2S No. 1 to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . To complete installation, reverse removal procedure. After installing HO2S No. 1, connect negative battery cable, start engine and check for exhaust leaks.
