Removal & Installation (Esteem 1.6L)

Raise and support vehicle. On Esteem, remove cover under right side of engine. Disconnect Crankshaft Position (CKP) sensor harness connector. Remove CKP sensor retaining bolts. Remove CKP sensor from oil pan. Ensure CKP sensor and pulley teeth are free from any metal particles or damage. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten CKP sensor retaining bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
