Removal & Installation (Esteem 1.6L)

Disconnect negative battery cable. Disconnect Camshaft Position (CMP) sensor harness connector. See Fig 1 . Remove CMP sensor retaining bolt, and remove sensor. Check "O" ring seal and replace if damaged. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten CMP sensor retaining bolt to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
