Oil Cooler Hose and Pipes Removal and Installation: Installation

When replacing them, be sure to note the followings.

to replace clamps at the same time
to insert hose as far as its limit mark
to clamp hose securely

Use new union gaskets (2) and connect oil cooler pipes (1) to oil outlet unions.
Connect hoses to pipes and clamp them securely.
Tighten union bolts to specified torque with oil outlet union locked.
Tightening torque

Oil cooler pipe union bolt (In case cooper base alloy gaskets (bronze in color) are used) (a): 35 N.m (3.5 kg-m, 25.5 lb-ft)

Tightening torque

Oil cooler pipe union bolt (In case rubber coated steel gasket (black in color) are used) (a): 25 N.m (2.5 kg-m, 18.0 lb-ft)
Tighten pipe bolt (3) securely.

Check A/T fluid level according to procedure described in A/T Fluid Level Check . Add if necessary.
Check for fluid leakage after warming up A/T.
