Installation of New Cable

- Install one end of cable on throttle valve cam in transmission. For detail, refer to "AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION UNIT ASSEMBLY: ".
- Bend cable (1) with its radius in 100 mm as shown in the figure and pull inner cable (3) by force of 1 - 2 N (0.1 - 0.2 kg, 0.22 - 0.44 lb) and take slack away.
- Clinch marker (2) supplied with cable on inner cable (3) at distance "a" from edge of outer cable.
A/T throttle cable adjustment clearance (inner cable position)
"a": 0.8 - 1.5 mm (0.03 - 0.06 in.)
- Install another end of cable to engine throttle cam.
- Adjust cable according to "Adjustment".
