Abs Actuator (EBCM And BPMV) Assembly Removal And Installation: Removal

  1. Disconnect negative cable from battery.
  2. Using special tool, disconnect brake pipes (2) from ABS actuator (EBCM and BPMV) assembly (1).
    NOTE: Put bleeder plug cap onto pipe to prevent fluid from spilling. Do not allow brake fluid to get on painted surfaces.

    Special tool 

    1. (A): 09950-78220

  3. Disconnect ABS actuator (EBCM and BPMV) assembly connector.

  4. Remove bolt (2) and take out ABS actuator (EBCM and BPMV) assembly (1) from bracket (3).
CAUTION:
  • Do not give an impact to ABS actuator (EBCM and BPMV) assembly.
  • Use care not to allow dust to enter ABS actuator (EBCM and BPMV) assembly.
  • Do not place hydraulic unit on its side or upside down. Handling it in inappropriate way will affect its original performance.
