  1. Degrease and clean the crankshaft angle sensing blade and crankshaft camshaft drive sprocket.
  2. Degrease and clean the crankshaft camshaft drive sprocket installation side of the crankshaft.
  3. Install the crankshaft angle sensing blade and crankshaft camshaft drive sprocket in the direction shown.

  4. Clean the screw hole of the crank shaft.
  5. Place the larger chamfer side of the crank shaft pulley washer in the direction shown and then assemble on the crankshaft pulley center bolt.
  6. Apply some engine oil to the crankshaft pulley center bolt bearing surface and screw.
  7. Hold the crankshaft camshaft drive sprocket with special tools MB991367 and MD991385 in the same manner as removal.
  8. Tighten the crankshaft pulley center bolts to the specified torque.
    1. Tightening torque: 162 +/- 5 N.m (120 +/- 3 ft-lb)
